asked questions
You’re not the only one wondering…
Whether you’re brand new to yoga or deepening your practice, these are some of the most common questions I get about private sessions, retreats, and working together.
Private Yoga Sessions
What can I expect in a private yoga session?
Each session begins with a short check-in to see where you’re at - physically, mentally, and energetically. From there, I’ll guide you through a personalised practice that might include movement, breath work, meditation, and grounding. You’ll leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself.
Do I need to be flexible or experienced to book a session?
Not at all. Private yoga is designed for you - your body, your goals, your pace. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I’ll meet you exactly where you are.
Where do sessions take place?
I currently teach in-person in a private yoga shala in Southbank, Melbourne. I also teach online via Zoom. Mobile sessions for clients who prefer yoga in their own home or workspace are available upon request.
What styles of yoga do you teach?
My teaching draws from Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle, Restorative, Flow, and Yin Yoga - blending mindful movement with breath and stillness. Each session is tailored to how you feel that day.
How long are sessions and how much do they cost?
Most private sessions run for 60 minutes. Rates depend on location and delivery (online or in-person). Packages are available for ongoing practice, view the current private pricing for 2025 here. Or simply reach out through the Contact Page for more details.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Online sessions are a great option if you’re interstate or travelling. I’ll guide you live through a private Zoom session and can provide a short follow-up sequence to continue at home
Retreats & Workshops
When is your next retreat?
My next retreat is currently in planning - you can join the mailing list to be the first to know when bookings open. Past retreats have been held in Bali and Australia, and they sell out quickly.
What’s included in your retreats?
Each retreat is designed as a deep reset - combining yoga, nourishing food, rest, connection, and reflection. You’ll experience a blend of movement, stillness, and personal growth woven through each day.
Are your retreats suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Every body and every level is welcome. Whether you’ve been practicing for a decade or are stepping onto the mat for the first time, you’ll be supported to move and rest in ways that feel right for you.
Philosophy & Practice
What makes your approach different?
My teaching blends ancient yoga philosophy with modern nervous-system science and a soulful, human touch. It’s not about perfect poses — it’s about presence, breath, and remembering that you already hold everything you need within you.
Do you include breathwork and meditation in classes?
Always. Movement, breath, and awareness are inseparable in my teaching. You’ll often finish practice with stillness, reflection, or guided meditation - a chance to integrate and exhale.
Bookings & Next Steps
How do i Book?
You can book your first 1:1 session here. Once booked, I’ll reach out to confirm your session and discuss what you’re hoping to receive from your practice.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens — but please allow at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your booking will forfeit the session.
Cancel by calling or texting +61405250047.
do you do refunds?
All sales are final. I don’t offer refunds on single sessions or packages. However, reschedules are welcome with adequate notice, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate changes where possible.
do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Yoga makes a beautiful, thoughtful gift — a moment of calm and connection for someone you love. You can purchase a digital gift card for private sessions or upcoming retreats.
