PURCHASING TRIP INSURANCE
Purchasing trip insurance as part of your travel insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Please take care and take the time to educate yourself to decide which policy is right for you. And be sure to compare multiple plans and see the different coverage and pricing options. Customer service representatives from your chosen insurer can best answer specific questions on plans.
BASIC TRAVEL INSURANCE
Basic travel insurance covers many important things such as cancellations for covered reasons, medical and trip delays. Depending on your credit card, you may also have travel insurance benefits as part of your cardholder status.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - ESSENTIALS
The following points are key factors which you need to acknowledge when registering for the Bali 2024 Yoga Retreat.
I understand and agree:
1. That a AU$500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking, with the balance payable no later than May 10th, 2024. Unless otherwise organised with Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga.
2. If I book within 2 months of the departure date I understand that full payment is required at the time of booking and I am subject to the refund policy.
3. I have read and understand the cancellation policy.
4. I must complete and return a Health and Emergency Contact Form, and a Release of Liability
Agreement Form which will be provided via email before departure. Failure to do any of the above may result in the cancellation of my booking.
5. That I am participating in an active Retreat in Bali and at times may find it mentally and physically challenging. There will be one or more yoga/meditation classes daily. The onus is on me, the participant, to ensure that I am physically fit to undertake the retreat.
6. I take full responsibility for my own health and well-being during the program and understand the risks of travel in the developing world. I will not hold Danielle Christie or Nunu Yoga or any of the contractors and staff responsible for injuries or other medical or emotional problems that might occur.
7. I understand that Danielle Christie, Nunu Yoga reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any time, if deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the participants.
8. I understand if I wish to cancel my reservation, it must be done in writing or via email and the cancellation will be effective as of the date Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga receives it. The deposit is non refundable and is subject to the refund policy - listed further down.
9. Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga reserves the right to cancel the retreat if it is below the minimum of 10 participants. If this is to occur, Danielle Christie will notify me in advance and give me a full refund, including the deposit within 30 days of cancellation. I understand that Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga isn’t responsible for any additional expenses incurred in relation to this trip such as air tickets, passport and visa costs, nor any medical vaccination and preparations.
10. I have read the below Terms and Conditions and understand and accept them, along with the Terms and Conditions - Essentials, as above.
RETREAT TERMS
Please note that Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga will not be held liable for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (e.g., late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, Covid-19 or other Pandemics). No refunds will be given for cancellations after final balance paid, “no shows” or days not used resulting from the above aforementioned, nor will we refund for late arrivals or premature departures.
JOURNEY ITINERARIES
An itinerary will be sent to all tour participants prior to departure. The itinerary is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control including weather, political upheavals, as well as delayed/changed flights.
Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga reserves the right to change the journey leader, tour guide and/or accommodation should the need arise. Should any change be made to the itinerary, we will endeavour to ensure a comparable alternative is provided.
FITNESS LEVELS
Moderate fitness levels are required for the 2024 BaliYoga Retreat. This Retreat includes some walking as well as daily yoga classes. The onus is on each participant to ensure that they are medically fit to undertake the retreat.
JOURNEY INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
INCLUSIONS ARE:
• Return transfers to and from the Gaia retreat centre, Tejakula. (Pick up point and time will be specified at a later date.)
• 6 nights accommodation at Gaia Oasis Pantai Beach Resort, destination.
• 3 buffet style meals per day. With dinner only on the first night and breakfast only on last day.
• Entry fees on organised excursions.
• 1x Massage at Gaia Retreat Centre
• All yoga and meditation classes and scheduled teachings.
EXCLUSIONS ARE:
Personal documentation and visa costs, departure taxes, flights, travel and trip cancellation insurance, excess baggage charges, medical requirements including inoculations or vaccinations, meals and beverages not specifically mentioned in inclusions, telephone calls, laundry, optional extra tours, gratuities and items of a personal nature are not included.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
All travellers require a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure, together with onward travel documents and sufficient funds for the duration of the stay. The onus is on the traveler to ensure passports and relevant visas are current and valid. Sufficient blank VISA pages in your passport (not endorsement pages) are also required by certain immigration authorities; please ensure that you have at least 3 blank, double facing pages in your passport prior to travel. If there are insufficient blank pages in your passport then entry into a country could be denied. All passport holders should verify with their travel agent or relevant Consulate concerning visa entry requirements. If travellers are extending their journey to other countries, please establish entry requirements for those countries as well. Applications, costs and relevant documentation are the responsibility of the traveller. Danielle Christie / Nunu Yoga, cannot be held liable for any visas or travel documents not held by the traveller nor any costs relating to refused travel by Airlines or the authorities.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis, as space is limited. To secure your place, a non refundable deposit of AU$500 is due at time of reservation, please note the currency is in AU$. Full payment is required 30 days before commencement (unless otherwise stated). Please refer to the relevant email you received upon sign up for specific date deadlines. Payments can be made by bank transfer.
TOUR CANCELLATIONS
Please note that we require minimum numbers for the journeys to operate. Should the minimum number of participants not be reached, Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga reserves the right to cancel a trip that is below the minimum of 10 participants. If this should occur, Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga will notify you in advance and give a full refund, deposit included, within 30 days of cancellation. Note that Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga is not responsible for any additional expenses occurred in relation to this trip, such as air tickets, passport and visa fees or medical vistas in preparation. Travellers are required to provide a copy of their Travel Insurance and it is recommended that you include Trip Cancellation Insurance.
Danielle Christie / Nunu Yoga is not responsible for conjunction of air tickets or additional travel arrangements booked through any source. Cancellations due to Travel Advisories, Acts of War or terrorism, Acts of God, Natural disasters, Covid, strikes, pandemics, technical problems, political upheaval or any other circumstances outside the control of Danielle Christie/ Nunu Yoga. Cancellations for any of these reasons will not be eligible for any form of refund.
REFUNDS
No refunds after February 01, 2024. If you purchase a spot, you’re preventing others from buying them as spots are limited. If you don’t ask for a refund by February 01, 2024, you’ll lose your fee if you can’t make it. If you ask for a refund before February 01, 2024 Nunu Yoga will refund the cost, minus your $500 non-refundable deposit.
